Our Doctors

Worried that the doctors you might see online aren’t reputable? You should be, and so are we.  Some national telemedicine companies staff their services by sending out mass emails to physicians across the country, selling their company as a way for doctors to make a quick buck with minimal effort.

RelyMD is owned and staffed by Wake Emergency Physicians, a Raleigh-based group of 90 actively-practicing, board certified emergency medicine doctors who provide care to approximately 300,000 patients annually including all emergency departments in the Wake Med Health and Hospital system, as well as emergency departments in the Johnston and Granville Hospital systems.  Many of our physicians trained or worked at UNC, Duke, and other nationally-recognized healthcare institutions.  We are a well-respected, local group of doctors who started RelyMD because we are looking to deliver healthcare to North Carolinians in a more convenient and cost-effective manner.

We take pride in providing an important service to our local community through our work in the Emergency Room and we view RelyMD as a natural extension of this service.
