About a year in, a new telemedicine service launched by Wake Emergency Physicians reports that it is running well.
The service, called RelyMD, connects patients to connect with a physician online before going directly to an emergency room or urgent care. The service costs $50, however, the physicians argue that could be far cheaper than a trip to the ER, which can come with co-pays approaching $250.
