Dr. Sarah Mills
Medical Director
Dr. Sarah Mills is RelyMD’s Medical Director and brings more than 8 years of clinical experience to RelyMD. As Medical Director, Dr. Mills monitors quality and appropriateness of medical care, oversees clinical peer review, develops and approves clinical guidelines, manages physician relations and behavior/impairment issues, assists with clinical patient complaints, and provides performance improvement, guidance, and support.
Dr. Mills has been with RelyMD as Medical Director since 2017 and has been balancing working in the local emergency departments while also providing care to patients in their own homes via virtual care.
Dr. Mills first started her medical training by obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. From there, she completed medical school at West Virginia University and graduated from residency at UNC Chapel Hill in 2012. For the past 8 years, Dr. Mills has been practicing as an Emergency Medicine Physician for Wake Emergency Physicians, PA.
