David Levin

Chief Executive Officer

As a 2x CEO and executive at multiple startups David brings 25+ years of experience as a leader in building digital health companies. At RelyMD, David leads the company’s mission to make patients and their communities healthier by offering accessible, affordable, high-quality care. Together with Wake Emergency Physicians, PA (WEPPA), where RelyMD had been incubated, David and the team successfully launched RelyMD as a stand-alone company in 2019. Additionally, David serves as board chair at Roobrik, a Durham, NC startup in the senior living market. Prior to launching RelyMD, David spent the past 20 years building Bivarus, Clinipace Worldwide, and MercuryMD into successful companies – leading to two exits.

In 2014, David became President and CEO at Bivarus, a venture-backed SaaS company that pioneered a novel approach to how healthcare leaders capture and operationalize patient-generated insights. In this role, David guided the company through two funding rounds leading to significant customer growth and a successful acquisition by Press Ganey Associates in early 2018, where he served as a Vice President within the Product and Strategy teams.

Prior to Bivarus, David served as Global Vice President of Marketing at Clinipace Worldwide. In his role at Clinipace, David has helped the company achieve significant growth, which led to the company being recognized as one of the fastest growing private companies in the country, appearing on the INC. 500 list four consecutive years. Prior to Clinipace Worldwide, David was a Vice President of Product Management and Marketing at MercuryMD, where he helped launch several well-adopted software applications into the health care market prior to the company’s successful acquisition by Thompson Corp. (IBM Watson Health).

David holds a master’s from the University of Georgia and a bachelor’s from Kent State University.
